Does this sound like you?

“I feel like I should choose a niche, but I don’t want to box myself in.”

“I try to use coaching skills at work, but I they sometimes fall flat.”

You’ve hit a wall with people pleasing and overwork.

You’re longing for more purpose, meaning, and fulfillment in your work.

Something’s out of balance or alignment in your life, but it’s hard to really see it and shift it on your own.

Your creativity is feeling dormant, stagnant, or crowded out.

You feel like you “should” be grateful for your life and work, but you often find yourself wondering, “is this it?”

You’re not alone in this.

Let’s pool our magic and thrive together.

After six years of coaching one-on-one, I have seen so many thoughtful, creative, intelligent, magical people wrestle alone with inner and outer obstacles.

Perhaps you are so often the “only”—only woman on a leadership team, only founder of color pitching to white VCs, only creative in a highly technical culture. Maybe you’ve never really seen someone like you bring your dream to fruition.

You are blazing trails, but it gets lonely. I know for sure that there are other kindred spirits on parallel paths, grappling with the very same themes.

It is my honor to bring you together, to create a safe space where you can feel seen and understood. To facilitate a small, powerful community that helps you thrive.

What we’ll cover

Align with your values

We’ll use a variety of exercises to uncover your values, then use them as a lens for your decision-making. We’ll look at how values affect your work, life, and relationships. You’ll have the chance to evaluate where you’re in alignment with your values already and where adjustment is needed.

Befriend your inner critic

Many coaching programs attempt to shut the inner critic down, but it just keeps rising up again in new forms. Instead, we’ll befriend your inner critic by practicing compassion, curiosity, acceptance, and self-love. Your inner critic is there for a reason, and we are going to work with it, not against it.

Strengthen your intuition

You are already equipped with an inner compass that can offer you a treasure trove of information. Connecting with your intuition allows you to gain clarity and direction in your decision-making process, better understand your desires, and tap into your most powerful tool for finding clarity.

Learn coaching skills

You’ll practice holding space for others, asking coaching questions, and listening in an empowering and compassionate way. We’ll also address the nuances of using coaching skills in a variety of relationships—as a manager, a partner, a friend, a coach. You’ll bring greater self-awareness to how you listen and communicate.

Unleash your creativity

Intuition and creativity are closely linked and require similar conditions to flourish. Our program will be rich with creative inspiration, exercises, and practices to grow your creative confidence. We won’t only be talking in this group. We’ll use a variety of media to create an inviting space for your inner creative to come out and play.

Apply design thinking to your life & work

Design thinking allows you to approach your life as a creative process, and you can continuously refine your vision and your roadmap over time. This dynamic approach keeps you agile in the face of change. It’s one of many tools you’ll take with you and apply long after the program.

Let it be easy.

Executive Burnout Coaching | Photo of Lisa Sanchez

Finding my own source of clarity & creativity

Meet your host, facilitator & guide

Hi, I'm Lisa Sanchez, and I am no stranger to burnout and overachievement. Growing up in a mixed-race, blue-collar family in a small Rust Belt town, I was determined to change the course of my life, eventually achieving success at startups and tech companies. During one of many episodes of burnout, I realized that overwork was causing chronic health issues and that my life just wasn’t aligned with my values. By partnering with an intuitive and holistic coach, I began a journey of healing and self-discovery.

I've since spent hundreds of hours coaching creative leaders struggling with similar challenges. I’m passionate about sharing what I've learned to help you find greater fulfillment and trust in yourself. Come join me in the safe and cozy space of Source to meet kindred spirits, connect with your inner wisdom, and create the fulfillment and freedom you’re searching for.

My approach is informed by my experience in design leadership, my education at Harvard College and Harvard Divinity School, coach training and certification at the Coactive Institute, and group facilitation training with Reboot.

I’ve previously lived in San Francisco, Berlin, Boston, and Atlanta, and I’m now nestled in the mountains in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I’m mama to a toddler and a rescue pup.

FAQs

  • Nope. While this program is designed with executives, founders, and entrepreneurs in mind, it will be equally supportive and welcoming for individual contributors, independent creatives, and those who are on sabbaticals or leaves from work.

  • Most of my clients have worked at startups and technology companies, of all sizes and stages. I’ve worked with founders, VPs, directors, leads, and senior individual contributors. Many are creatives at heart and have expertise in design, marketing, or product. I’ve also worked with coaches and individual entrepreneurs.

  • Nope. The heart of this work lies with you—the courage and openness you bring to our gatherings and the learning and experimentation you practice in between. I’ve witnessed my clients get promoted, take sabbaticals, change industries, recover from burnout, move across the world, and bring their own visions to life. The outcome of your journey with Source is entirely up to you!

  • Yes! And you’ll each receive a $500 discount. Shared tents are very comfortably arranged with two twin beds. (I stayed in one myself with a friend and loved it!)

  • Our group calls will include guided exercises and discussion. Optional exercises, resources, and inspiration will be available to you through Slack as well. The intended themes and topics for each month will be shared, and these will be revised and adjusted to best meet the needs and desires of the small group.

Beyond the monthly calls and the retreat, the time you devote to the program is entirely up to you.

  • You’re welcome to bring any topic you’re grappling with to our 1:1 async coaching. Here are some of the topics that come up frequently with my clients: overcoming burnout, accessing intuition and creativity, giving and receiving feedback, unhooking from praise and people-pleasing, setting boundaries and saying no, managing up, self-care, preparing for interviews and presentations, hiring, managing a team, creating a healthy culture, going for a promotion, stepping down from a leadership role, taking time off, and balancing work and parenthood.

  • This is a common question, since coaching and therapy both use conversation as a primary medium. Therapy often looks to the past or the unconscious to uncover the why behind our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, then works to shift unhealthy patterns to healthy ones. Therapy treats trauma, grief, addiction, depression, anxiety, and many other mental health concerns. And even more broadly, it helps improve self-awareness, relationships, and overall wellbeing.

Coaching isn’t therapy. It doesn’t diagnose or treat mental health concerns. It can be a great complement to therapy, but it doesn’t replace it. Coaching starts with the present and looks toward the future, expanding one’s sense of possibility, then providing accountability to create meaningful change.

“Working with Lisa has allowed me to step away from the narratives I repeat to myself when dealing with struggles in work and personal life.

After listening to my thoughts, she has an incredible ability to pull out kernels of insights that help me reframe how I view a problem, often broadening the solution set in an unexpected way. She also provides actionable tips on how to break the habits and thought patterns that have blocked me from making progress. And she does it all with such warmth, grace, and kindness.”
